De Bernardin
Colli di Conegliano D.O.C.G.

Description

TYPE: white wine
GRAPE VARIETY: Manzoni bianco, Pinot bianco, Chardonnay, Riesling Renano
TECHNICAL INFORMATION: alcohol – 13.5%, acidity – 5.7 g/l, sugar – 0 g/l
PRODUCTION: This wine is coming from the small appellation Colli di Conegliano counting only a handful of wineries. The 4 authorised grape varieties grow in the same vineyard. They are
hand harvested in the middle of October and are left to dry in the sun for a few months before fermenting. The wine is then matured in big oak barrels for a few months. It has no added sulphites.
TASTING  NOTES: This complex wine has a fresh nose of delicate flowers and ripe tropical fruit. Melon, mango and dried pineapple are intertwined with hints of honey. In the mouth the wine displays fresh acidity, oily texture and a pleasant finish with a touch of lime zestyness . It is the perfect accompaniment for starters and seafood dishes. Best enjoyed when served at a temperature between 3-6 °C.
